What are the pharmacodynamic effects of β-adrenoceptor agonists?
A
INCREASE - force, rate, cardiac output and O2 consumption.
DECREASE - cardiac efficiency and causes arrythmias.

What are β-adrenoreceptor agonists?
A
They activate β1-adrenoceptors causing activation of the Gs subunit. They increase Ca2+ influx into the cell and increase cAMP to mediate protein kinase A activity.
