MORPHINE
Miosis (pupil constriction), Mood changes

Respiratory depression, Reduced salivation

Nausea, Nervousness
Emesis
Opioid Agonist/Antagonists
For mild to moderate pain
Less agonist effect (no euphoria)
Prevents withdrawals

Treatment of opioids/overdoses
Immediately causes withdrawal

Cox inhibitors
Decreases inflammation, pain, and fever

Treat pain and fever (preferred for fever)
No anti-inflammatory action
