Eclampsia drugs

A

Mag Sulph 4g loading bolus - 1g maintenance hourly
Labetalol 200mg orally (Not asthmatics)
OR Nifedipine 20mg (Not asthmatics)
Labetalol 20mg IV (can double with 10 min intervals not >50mg hourly)
IV hydrazaline for asthmatics (5mg every20 mins)

PPH drugs

A

Oxytocin- 10 IU IM
Ergometrine- 500mcg IM (not if hypertension)
Oxytocin infusion- 40IU in 500mls saline 125mls/hour
Carboprost- 250mcg IM.
Tranexamic acid- 1g IV
Misoprostol- 800mcg sublingually
