Activated Charcoal - OD
1g/kg PO or NG
Adenosine - SVT, Mono V-tach
6mg/2 sec, if n/c in 2 min, 12mg/2 sec
Albuterol - Asthma, COPD
2.5mg/3ml of NS
Amiodarone - Stable Mono V-tach
150mg/10 mins
Amiodarone - V-fib, PVT
300mg then 150mg
Aspirin - Chest pain
325mg chewed
Ativan - Sedation, Seizures
Sedation = 0.5mg/kg IM. Max 4 - Seizures 2mg slow IV
Atropine - Bradycardia w/hypotension
0.5mg fast IV push. Repeat q 3-5 until pulse >59 or max 3mg
Atropine - Organophosphate Poisoning
5mg q 5 until s/s resolve
Calcium Chloride/gluconate - Hyperkalemia
500-1000mg
D50 - Hypoglycemia, Coma cocktail
25g
Diazepam/Valium - Anxiety
2-5mg IM
Diltiazem - Stable SVT, A-fib or A-flutter with SVT
20mg/2 min or (0.25mg/kg)
Diphenhydramine/Benadryl - Allergic reactions
25-50mg IV/IM/IO
Dopamine - Bradycardia, shock except hypovolemic
400mg/250ml @ 2-20 mcg/kg/min until bp >90 (for shock) or pulse >59 (for bradycardia)
Epinephrine DRIP - Bradycardia
1mg/250ml @ 2-10 mcg/min until pulse >59
Epinephrine - Cardiac Arrest
1mg q 3-5
Epinephrine - Status Asthmaticus or Anaphylaxis
Good perfusion = 0.3-0.5mg(or ml) 1:1000 IM. Poor perfusion = 0.1mg 1:10,000 IV/5 min
Etomidate - Sedation for intubation
0.1-0.3mg/kg
Fentanyl - Pain
1mcg/kg or 25-100mcg slow IV
