Codeine
opioid analgesic; management of mild to moderately severe pain where the use of an opioid analgesic is appropriate
Fentanyl
opioid analgesic; management of pain in opioid-tolerant patients severe enough to require daily, around-the-clock, long-term opioid treatment and for which alternative treatment options are inadequate
Morphine
opioid analgesic; relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain in opioid-tolerant patients
Guaifenesin (Brand: Humibid)
expectorant; helps loosen phlegm and thin bronchial secretions to rid the bronchial passageways of bothersome mucus and make coughs more productive
Robitussin (Generic: dextromethorphan hydrobromide)
antitussive/expectorant; temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with a cold. Helps loosen phlegm and thin bronchial secretions to drain bronchial tubes.

sterile, nonpyrogenic solution; source of water and electrolytes

for use in adults and pediatric patients as a diluent or solvent in the aseptic preparation of parenteral solutions or as a vehicle for drug administration
Mucomyst (Generic: acetylcysteine)
mucolytic; adjuvant therapy for patients with abnormal, viscid, or inspissated mucous secretions in conditions such as chronic bronchopulmonary disease, acute bronchopulmonary disease, pulmonary complications of cystic fibrosis, tracheostomy care, pulmonary complications associated with surgery, use during anesthesia, post-traumatic chest conditions, atelectasis due to mucous obstruction, and diagnostic bronchial studies

Bitolterol
adrenergic beta2-agonist; used to dilate air passages in the lungs that have become narrowed as a result of disease or inflammation. It is used in the treatment of asthma and COPD.
Brovana (Generic: arformoterol tartrate)
beta2-agonist; maintenance treatment of bronchoconstriction in patients with COPD
Epinephrine (Brand: Levophed, EpiPen)
sympathomimetic catecholamine; emergency treatment of allergic reactions (Type I)
Formoterol (Brand: Brovana, Foradil)
beta2-agonist; treatment of asthma and prevention of bronchospasm only as concomitant therapy with long-term asthma control medication in adults and children >5 years of age with reversible obstructive airway disease
Isoetharine
for the treatment of asthma, wheezing, and chronic asthmatic bronchitis
Isoproterenol
for the treatment of mild or transient episodes of heart block that do not require electric shock or pacemaker therapy also used in management of asthma and chronic bronchitis

Metaproterenol
beta2-agonist; for bronchial asthma and reversible bronchospasm which may occur in association with bronchitis and emphysema
Pirbuterol (Brand: Maxair)
beta2-agonist; prevention and reversal of bronchospasm in patients >12 years of age with reversible bronchospasm as monotherapy or with theophylline and/or corticosteroids
Racemic Epinephrine
sympathomimetic bronchodilator; stridor present or when croup is suspected
Salmeterol (Brand: Advair, Serevent)
beta2-agonist; treatment of asthma and prevention of bronchospasm only as concomitant therapy with a long-term asthma control medication in patients >4 years of age with reversible obstructive airway disease
Terbutaline
beta2-agonist; prevention and reversal of bronchospasm in patients >12 years with asthma and reversible bronchospasm associated with bronchitis and emphysema
