A
used to combat positive symptoms of SZ by blocking the actions of dopamine by binding to its receptors

what are atypical antipsychotics?
A
temporarily occupy dopamine receptors and then rapidly disassociate to allow normal dopamine transmission meaning these drugs have less side effects
