in addition to active ingredients what can drugs also contain? what is the purpose?
A
binders: hole tablet together ex cellulose, lactose, sorbitol
emulsifiers- allow fat and water soluble to mix ex lechitin
presevatives- extend shelf life, change ph ex citric acid benzoates.
