A

A: Treat Bacterial Infections such as Tonsillitis, Bronchitis, Pneumonia, and infections of the ear, nose, throat, skin, or urinary tract; CI: Patients with a serious hypersensitivity reaction; R:Oral (Tablets, Capsules, Suspensions); S: Hives, Difficulty Breathing, Swelling, Fever, Pain; D: Adults- 500 mg every 12 hrs or 875 mg if respiratory tract or if severe. Children- 25 mg every 12 hrs or 45 mg if respiratory tract or if severe.

A: Treat the symptoms of serious infections, including strep throat and staph infections, diphtheria, meningitis, gonorrhea and syphilis; CI: any previous hypersensitivity to penicillin; R: Oral (Tablets) or IV; S: Headache, Black/Hairy Tongue, Pain/Swelling on IV Site, Mild Diarrhea; D: 125-250mg every 6-8 hrs or 250-500mg every 6 hrs if severe respiratory

A: General Antibiotic; CI: any hypersensitivity to moxifloxacin; R: Oral (tabs) and IV; S: serious adverse reaction tendinitis, tendon rupture, peripheral neuropathy, central nervous system effects, exacerbation of myasthenia gravis; D: Tablets come in 400 mg every 24 hrs and can be taken w or w/o food (drink fluids liberally), IV solutions come in ratio of 1:10 to 10:1; QF: Do not take with antacids. May cause photosensitivity. Black box warning for tendon rupture.

A: Used to treat symptoms of bacterial infections, Not known if safe for under 1 year old; CI: hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin or any quinolone antibiotic; S: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, headache, abnormal liver tests; D: Oral (Tabs) and susp, usually comes in 250 mg, 500-750 mg doses typically every 12 hours; QF: Do not take with anatacids, may cause photosensitivity, black box warning for tendon rupture

A: Used to treat bacterial infection symptoms, not known if safe for infants under 14 days; CI: hypersensitivity for levofloxacin; R: Oral (tabs); S: nausea, constipation, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, trouble sleeping, D: Dosage ammt varies from 250mg, 500 mg, to 750 mg, most last for around 7-14 days while others give you a limited tablet supply count; QF: do not take with antacids, may cause photosensitivity, black box warning for tendon rupture
