what is a drone?

what is a uav?
it is an unmanned aerial vehicle. the term used by DOD in 2005 and defined
as “powered, aerial vehicle not having within a human operator, uses
aerodynamic forces to provide vehicle lift, can fly autonomously or be
piloted remotely, can be expendable or recoverable, and can carry a lethal
or nonlethal payload”
what is a uas?
it means unmaned aircraft system
aircraft and ground control station
what is a gcs?
ground control station consisiting of radio transmitter, video monitor, and wireless video system. may include DVR recording telemetry
what is fpv?
first person view = seing what drone is seing such as what it sees
what is osd?
on screen display flight info such as battery height
what is a lipo?
Lithium - ion Polymer rechargeable battery.
what is gps?
Global Positioning System
what jobs are there for the uav industry?
aerial photography for real state + construction + special events + film industry + inpections + agriculture + search and rescue + law enforcement + deliveries + and entertainment displays
