Who is exempt from a driver’s license?
Military, a 16-year-old with a license from a different country, or a college student from out of state.

Legal adult with you when driving, parental permission, 5-10, only two other non-passengers, everyone has to wear a seatbelt, no alcohol or phone
What happens if you’re convicted on the level one permit twice?
Your license will be revoked for 90 days.
When can you upgrade to the second level?
When you’re 16, driven for 180 days, pass a test, have an adult log 50 hours of driving and 10 hours of night driving, no phones and have proof of identity.
What are the rules for the second level?
Can drive without an adult between 5 and 10, or if you have an emergency, job, church, or school.
Who can’t be a passenger with a 2nd-level driver and for how long?
No non-family members under 20 for the first six months, only one non-family member under 20 for the next six months.
How long do you have to be free of convictions to upgrade from the level one permit?
six months.
How long do you have to be free of convictions to upgrade from the level two permit?
twelve months
If you are convicted with a level two permit, what do you have to do to upgrade?
Either take a course or turn 18.
