Using DK1 decon outer gloves Decon chin strap Remove helmet Front of GSR Face Respirator inside Ears Neck Head and harness Outside of respirator Replace hood Helmet Ground in front of you Boots Check paper
What method for the decon with DKP1?
Blot-dab-wipe
Describe NAPS drill
Decon gloves, front of respirator, chin strap and pocket with tablets
Release velcro on jacket and undo zip
Take out tablet packet
Take out one tablet
Replace pack into pocket
Take several deep breaths, hold and close eyes
Pull respirator far enough to put tablet under tongue
Replace GSR
Purge
Swallow tablet
Describe Combo pen drill
Check IPE is fitting correctly Remove pen Lay on ground and find spot on leg that is not obstructed Pull grey safety cap off Push against thigh Count to 10 Bend the needle Replace pen in bag Decon gloves and haversack if required
Describe drinking procedure
Decon gloves, drinking system coupler, tube and tap
Decon outside of water bottle pouch
Remove water bottle and decon
Insert tube end into water bottle and twist
Turn lever on tap to fully up position
Ensure straw is in mouth
Water bottle upside down and blow to create pressure
Turn lever to fully downwards position
Disconnent water bottle and decon
Replace tubes
Decon water bottle cap and return to pouch
Adjust IPE and decon gloves
Emergency drinking drill
Decon gloves, water pouch, front of respirator and jacket under chin Remove water bottle and decon Place on ground Remove helmet Undo jacket and peel back hood Decon gloves and remove water bottle cap Take several deep breaths, hold, close eyes Release both straps Pull away from face to give access Drink water Put bottle down Swallow Adjust harness Purge
PFC change
Remove PFC from haversack Remove packaging Check for green Locate new filter onto mount Take 3/4 breath, close eyes and hold breath Turn until locked Breathe in slightly Purge twice
