How do psychodynamic assumption ‘we behave they way we do largely because of unconscious drives’ apply to dream analysis?
The unconscious mind expresses itself through dreams. The purpose of dream analysis has is to decode what’s in the unconscious mind as it expresses itself in the storyline. Threatening nature of unconscious thoughts is disguised in dreams. Dream analysis is so you can gain insight into unconscious mind and cure the persons psychological illness.
