A

A

What is a Chassis

A

The chassis is the 2nd component and is needed when moving a container to and from a location, it connects to the rig and has wheels (attached to the truck, it kind of looks like a longer rig)

What kind of containers are there?

A

Dry storage, Hard Top, Flat Rack, Open Side, Reefer, Open Top.

We are currently only service Reefer and standard containers, all other containers will be politely rejected when processing delivery orders

A

Customer vs. Consignee

A

Customer (Shippers) - are the fols making the arrangements to get goods from point A to B.

  • Brokers, freight forwarders
  • Big Names in the industry: CMA, Mattel, Kuenhe + Nagel, Maersk

Consignee - the folks waiting on the goods to be delivered so they can sell them in their stores. This includes distribution centers as well which are used as a holding facility until the goods are ready to head to retailer.

  • Morphe, Safelite, Amazon*, Cooper Tiles, Phillips Electronics, Costco, Konami Games
