Q

Describe an architectural plan/as fitted drawing

A

Most likely to be encountered by an installation electrician They show the layout of the building and position of accessories and equipment Will show a scale drawing of all equipment and allow a designer to determine materiel requirements for a job The electrician will use scale architectural plans to position equipment in real size accordingly

Q

Describe schematic diagrams

A

Similar to circuit diagrams in that they show how a system works rather than how it is wired Generally used on larger control systems as they can make fault finding much simpler
