Drawings and Specs Flashcards
Electrical drawings include
- Electrical layouts ( most used for estimating)

- Schematic diagrams
- Line diagrams
What is an electrical layout drawing?
Show the, as accurate a possible, actual location of each component of an electrical circuit. Show circuiting and sometimes junction boxes.

What are electrical specs
They provide minimum standards for all parts of the electrical system.
Can include:
- accepted manufacturers
- allowed materials
- performance standards
- Supplemental code/AHJ requirements
