Dialogue
A conversation between two or more people.
External Conflict
The struggle between a person and an outside force.
Stage Directions
Instructions in a play for technical aspects of the production. (Lighting, sound, costume, scenery or props, and movement).
Director
A person who is in charge of an activity, department, or organization.
Props
An object used on stage or on screen by actors during a performance or screen production.
Tragic Hero
A person of noble birth with heroic or potentially heroic qualities.
Protagonist
The character who drives the action–the character whose fate matters most
Tragic Flaw
inherent defect or shortcoming in the hero of a tragedy, who is in other respects a superior being favoured by fortune.
Foil
Someone who contrasts with another character usually the main character to highlight their qualities.
Stage
A designated space for the performance of productions.
Drama
A play for theater, radio, or television.
Tragedy
A serious and dignified style of the sorrowful or terrible events encountered or caused by a heroic individual.
Comedy
A genre of dramatic performance having a light or humorous tone that depicts amusing incidents
Internal Conflict
The struggle that occurs within a character’s mind.
Resolution
The end of the story.
