Some rivers are large with lots of tributaries,the area where that river is found is said to have a high drainage density

This is the area where two or more rivers meet

This is the area where water goes after the river has been flooded or overflow it’s banks
Meander
These are the curves and bends in a river

This is an abandoned meander.it forms due to erosion and deposition
Delta
This forms at the mouth of a river due to the build up of cediments
Bed
This is the floor of the river
Bank
These are the sides of the river
If the sides are steep it’s called concave bank and if the sides are gentle it’s called a convey bank
Tributary
These are smaller rivers joining larger rivers

This is a area drained by a river and its tributaries
