A
Forms of precipitation will fall as an input
Some of this will be intercepted by vegetation and stored
Or some will infiltrate into the ground and be stored as ground water
Water can be transported under ground by through flow and ground water flow
As well as surface run off
Water will make it’s way back down the river to the ocean etc
Evapotranspiration is an output from the drainage basin area
