Lights
Amber/Red in color, clean and functional and none are broken or missing
Reflectors
Amber/Red in color, they are clean
Glass
Checking to see if they are clean and not damaged
Mirrors
I’m checking to make sure they are cleaned and properly adjusted from the inside
Mirror Brackets
Checking the mirror brackets are not damaged and are mounted securely with no loose fittings
front doors
Checking that the entry/exit doors are not damaged and operate from the outside. Hinges should be secure with seals intact
Front Steering Tire
Tire- checking for minimum tread depth of 4/32 in all grooves. Checking that tread is evenly worn and looking for cuts or other damage to tread and sidewalls. Also make sure the valve caps and stems are not missing, broken, or damaged. Checking for proper inflation between 100-120 psi
Rims- Checking for damaged or bent rims. Rims cannot have welded repairs. Check rims for rust trails that may indicate the rim is loose on the wheel.
Lug Nuts- Checking that all lug nuts are present, free of cracks, and distortions, and show no signs of looseness such as rust trails and shiny threads. Make sure all bolt holes are not cracked or distorted
Hub Oil Axle Seal- See that the hub oil axle seal is not leaking
Splash Guard- checking to see that it is not damaged and mounted securely

Air Bellows- Are not leaking and are mounted. The mounts are secured to the axle and frame
Brake Chambers- Are not leaking, cracked or dented and are mounted securely. There are no loose or missing Clamps.
Break Drums- Checking for cracks , dents or holes. Also checking for loose or missing bolts
Break Linings- Checking that a visible amount of brake lining is showing
Break Lines and Hoses- Looking for cracked, worn, or leaking hoses, lines and couplings
Slack Adjustors and Push Rods- Checking for broken, loose or missing parts
Shocks- Checking to see if they are secure and there are not leaks

Brake Chambers- Are not leaking, cracked or dented and are mounted securely. There are no loose or missing Clamps.

Shocks- Checking to see if they are secure and there are not leaks

Frame- Looking for cracks, broken welds, holes, or other damage to the longitudinal frame members, cross members, box and floor
This bus has no BAGGAGE compartments
This bus has no U-BOLTS
Drive Shaft- Checking to see if I is not bent or cracked. Couplings should be secured and free of foreign objects
Rear Drive Axle Tires

Budd Spacing- Checking the space between the tires for debris and or foreign objects and tires are not touching
