A

-bolus is typically= 20cc/kg
-this is rescue fluids
-might go lower if cardiomyopathic, cardiac shock

-maintenance fluids:
-4/2/1 method
-for 1st 10kg give x 4mL/hr
-for 2nd 10kg x 2ml/hr
-for any wt above give x 1mL/hr

-4cc x total body surface area of burns (%) x wt (Kg) - first half 8hrs and next 16 hrs
