Adrenaline
Cardiac arrest (all doses rptd at 3-5 minute intervals, no max dose):
10 kg or more (>1 year) = 10 microg/kg
Less than 10 kg (excluding newly born) 100 microg
Newly born - 50 microg
Anaphylaxis/SAR/silent chest/severe life-threatening bronchospasm:
IM (all dosages rptd at 5 minute intervals, no max dose):
6 years or older - 300 microg
1-5 years - 150 microg
6 months to 1 year - 100 microg
Less than 6 months - 50 microg
NEB (anaphylaxis/SAR/croup only): 5 mg, single dose only
Amiodarone
CCP only for paediatric
Aspirin
> 18 years only
Box jellyfish antivenom
IM: 60 000 units, single dose only
IV INF: 20 000 units, infusion over 20 minutes, single dose only
Ceftriaxone
50 mg/kg (rounded up to the nearest 5 kg), total max dose 1 gm, single dose only
For paediatrics >20 kg hospital must be informed that only a partial dose has been administered
If <1 month must not be given without approval from consult line
Clopidogrel
> 18 years only
Dexamethasone
6 months to 8 years - 0.3 mg/kg rounded to the nearest 0.5 ml, total max dose 0.6 mg/kg (or 12 mg)
