Question 1

Door Disarming

Answer 1

1. Concentrate, avoid distractions, and stand facing Left Door.
2. Lift plastic cover
3. Identify and physically point to arming lever before touching it and verbally say out loud, “A/D Lever”
4. Verbal “Correct”
5. Lift the arming/disarming lever to “DISARMED” position
6. Remove pin from stowage area and place in pinhole in arming/disarming lever with red flag hanging over arming/disarming lever
7. Lower plastic cover
8. Repeat steps 1-7 at Right door
9. Visually cross check that both doors are “DISARMED”

Door Arming

Answer 2

1. Concentrate, avoid distractions, and stand facing Left door
2. Lift the plastic cover
3. Remove pin and place in stowage area
4. Identify and physically point to the arming/disarming lever and verbally say “A/D Lever”
5. Verbal “Correct”
6. Lower arming/disarming lever to the “ARMED” position
7. Lower plastic cover
8. Repeat steps 1-7 at Right door
9. Visually cross check that both doors are “ARMED”
