Where is an individual domiciled?
A
Where the person is present with the intent to remain for an unlimited time.

Where is an infant/minor domiciled?
A
Infant: where the custodial parents are; emancipated infant may establish their own domicile
Incompetents: a person lacking mental capacity to choose a domicile retains her parents’ domicile; if the person chose a domicile while competent, that domicile will continue after the person becomes incompetent.

What sort of factors can be considered to determine “intent” for domicile?

- ownership of real estate
- voting
- payment of taxes
- having a bank account
