Lactational Amenorrhea Method
is used to identify the fertile and infertile period of a woman’s cycle by daily
taking and recording the rise and fall in body temperature during and after ovulation.
Basal Body Temperature
is a method in which women use their vaginal mucous to determine their
fertility. It does not rely on the presence of ovulation, rather it identifies patterns of potential fertility and
obvious infertility within the cycle, whatever its length. Effectiveness, however, is not very clear.
