Yellow gums, high temp, bruises, blood in vomit, swollen abdomen, and enlarged lymph nodes.
What pathogen causes Canine Hepatitis?
Virus.
How do you treat Canine Hepatitis?
Antibiotics, IV fluids, blood transfusion.
What is the treatment for canine distemper?
No cure! Supportive care, IV fluids, antibiotics, anti sickness.
What are clinical signs or symptoms of canine distemper?
Hardening of nose and footpads, laboured breathing, loss of appetite, neurological symptoms.
What are the symptoms of canine parvo virus?
Vomiting, diarrhoea, weight loss, fever.
What are the treatments for canine parvo virus?
IV fluids, anti nausea, antibiotics, bland food, blood/plasma transfusion.
