What are “Maintenance and Inspection Proofs”
The Maintenance and Inspection Proofs issued with the manual is a prerequisite for operation of the Wind Turbine Generator System. The Maintenance and Inspection Proofs can be found in the section “Appendices”. You must copy these, fill them in correctly and archive appropriately as required by record retention guidelines
What is BIM?
Break-In Maintenance; BIM tasks may begin after 360 operating hours post-COD and must be completed within 5 months from the completion of those 360 operational hours
Define SA maintenance?
Semi-Annual Maintenance; SA maintenance tasks must be performed within 7 months of previously completed SemiAnnual maintenance tasks, or within 6 months from the date that the WTGS completed 360 operational hours post.
Define “annual maintenance”.
Annual Maintenance; Annual Maintenance tasks must be performed within 13 months of previously completed annual
maintenance tasks, or within 12 months from the date that the WTGS completed 360 operational hours post.
Define “Beyond Regular Maintenance”.
Beyond Regular Maintenance. This maintenance work does not fit exactly in the specified interval (e. g. once after 6 months and then annually; every 36 months etc.). Additional information is provided in the column for maintenance work.
Define COD.
Commercial Operation Date” means with respect to a Covered Unit the date when such Covered Unit is first capable of safely generating electric power and with respect to the Facility the date when every Covered Unit has reached its Commercial Operation Date in accordance with the Supply Contract.
