A

When is an NWR required?
A
- ambiguous in terms of cause and potential for foresight
- can be addressed by simple action and adequately documented on NWR form
- can be addressed within section
- is a nonconformance or deviation that didn’t affect outcome of evidence, processing, results or conclusion

When is an NWR not required?
A
- is foreseeable and clear cut immediate cause
- does not adversely compromise outcome of evidence, processing, result or conclusion
- can be adequately documented as an entry on existing documentation or casenote

NWR order of review processing
A
- incident reported to supervisor or Key Management member
- Key Management members evaluates significance of NWR and take action to correct
- Counsel staff of NWR
- Member of Key Management informs via email the Quality Manager and NWR is required (Sean Patterson) with TL and/or ATL, POC, and subject matter expert(SME) copied
- Quality Manager assigns NWR tracking number and logs information
- NWR folder goes through supervisory chain of command

Corrective Action Review (CAR)
A
-nonconformity requiring CAR: deviation adversely compromised outcome of evidence, processing, result or conclusionconsidered serious, ambiguous and requires investigation to determine root cause, requires corrective action, has compromised overall quality of work/integrity of evidence, requires immediate notification of TL and Director of DoD
