Who is God The Son
• God The Son is Jesus
• Regarded as the second person
• Refers to how we believe that God chose to come to earth as human being in the form of Jesus, the son of Mary
Who is God The Father?
• The first person of the Trinity
• He is creator of all things
• Creator of the world and everything in it
• Viewed as a loving father of the universe
What is The Holy Trinity
• Three divine persons. God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
• Lord over all the universe
Who is God The Holy Spirit?
• Third Person of the Holy Trinity
• Is fully God followed by God the Father and Son, co-equal & co-eternal with God the Father and Son of God
Who is Mary, The Mother of God?
• She was chosen by God to conceive Jesus.
• She is the ultimate symbol of motherhood.
• Reflection of her virtues as purity, modesty etc
• Not only mother of Christ. It mother of all humanity
What is The Purpose of the Sacraments?
• Make people holy
• build up the body of Christ
• Give worship to God
What is The Mass?
• To honour and praise God
• Unite in prayer with fellow believers in Christ
• Mass lies on Sundays, Holy Days or daily basis
What is Transubstantiation
• The bread and wine used for Communion become the body and blood of Christ
What is the Sacrament of Confession
• Reconciliation
• Offer sinners forgiveness for offences committed against God
What is Salvation??
Act of delivering (keeping away) from evil or saving from sin.
What is divine revelation??
• Guidance or Inspiration
• Communication of truth and knowledge from God to bai children on earth
• Suited to language and understanding
What is Sacred Scripture??
• Words and deeds of Jesus
• Jesus Passion, death and glorious resurrection
• Of God revealing himself to us
What is Sacred Tradition?
• Foundation of the doctrinal and spiritual authority of Christianity and of the Bible.
What is Sin?
• Violation of the will of God, showing disobedience.
• Offence against Gods moral law
What is Death?
• The judgement and the condemnation of God.
• End of all cycles such as birth, puberty, marriage, old age, among others
