Do Not Call List (DNC)

Allows consumers to file complaints with FTC. The anyone that offers or sell goods (including loan originators) must check the list every “31 days” and delete from their call list, those phone numbers on the registry.
- National list - updated every 3 months (90 days)
- Internal list - updated every “30 days”
- Fines up to $16,000 per incident
- If there is an Established Business Relationship (EBR), consumers can be contacted for “18 months” after the consumer’s last transaction or “3 months after the consumer makes an inquiry or submits an application to the company.
**If they tell you to stop calling, you have to take them off list regardless
