Each of the strands = copier to make another duplex

Building blocks between the newly replicated strands =
assembled to be able to use the complementary AT CG base pairings to put in place the new strand

The 2 daughter duplexes - that comes from DNA replication = have 1 strand comes from original parental DNA

And another = synthesised using ATCG Base pairing rules to make a new strand

Semi conservative = because the daughter molecules = have 1 strand from original DNA (conserved) and 1 newly synthesised strand
