Q

How are proteins made

A
  • DNA unzips and mRNA takes a complementary copy (replacing Thymine with Uracil)
  • mRNA travels to the ribosome where it will “read” the message and make sure the right amino acids are called
  • A chain of amino acids will form being held together by peptide bonds
  • A chain will code for a protein
