Inhibit DNA gyrase and topisomerase IV
Bactericidal
Enter via porin
Ciprofloxacin: gram - aerobes including Pseudomonas, systemic levels
Gemi and Levofloxacin: resp, PNAs, some Peudomonas, no anaerobic coverage
Moxifloxacin: resp, some anaerobes ( below the belt), Bacteroides, no Pseudomonas
