Describe the ADA doors on the ADA Vehicles
The ADA door is on a mechanically mounted hinge. A plunger pin is retracted from the door frame via a pull cable located near the RVs left side lap bar hub. The plunger pin is spring held and will extend once the pull cable is loose. This way the door is closed deliberately.
How many Prox sensors does the ADA door have?
2! One to check if the door is closed and one to check if the plunger pin is extended.
How is the FRP shell attached to the the frame?
By screws anchored into RIV nuts in the tubular frame. The FRP can be fully removed.
How many HPUs are there?
Five
How much hydraulic fluid can each skid hold?
40 gallons
