αύτός has three different uses. What are they, and how do you identify each one when you see it?

c. Identical Adjective “same” - normally in the attributive position
A Greek personal pronoun can be feminine in form when it is referring to an object which in English is a masculine concept? What gives rise to this situation?
The word might have feminine gender
What are the forms of the Greek (simple) negative “not” and when are they used?
οὐ -used if the next word begins with a consonant (οὐ δὺναται)
οὐκ - used if the next word begins with a vowel with a smooth breathing (οὐκ ἦλθον)
οὐχ - used if the next word begins in a vowel with rough breathing (ούχ ὑμεῖς)
What is the rule of Attraction?
The case of the relative pronoun is supposed to be determined by its function inside the relative clause, but in certain situations you will see that it is altered to be the same case as its antecedent, as if it were modifying it. This is called “attraction.” The case of the relative pronoun is attracted to the case of its antecedent.
When does attraction usually happen?
Attraction usually happens when the relative pronoun occurs in the immediate proximity to the antecedent, when the antecedent is dative or genitive, and when the relative pronoun normally would be accusative.
What is a movable nu (ν)?
A movable nu is a ν occurring at the end of a word that ends with a vowel when the following word begins with a vowel (e.g., εἰσὶν αὐτοί). The purpose of adding the ν was to avoid the pause necessary to pronounce both vowels. This is like changing the English “a” to “an” when the next word begins with a vowel.
What is a predicate nominative
What is the past tense form of ἐστίν?
ἦν
