Divinatory Spreads 101 Flashcards
Use this deck to memorize the formation and meaning of each card in eight divinatory spreads.
What are the seven basic steps for performing a Tarot reading?
- The seeker/querent concentrates on a specific question to be answered.
- The seeker states the question out loud to the diviner.
- The diviner holds the cards and directs his/her focus through them, then hands the cards to the seeker.
- The seeker shuffles the cards, then returns them to the diviner.
- The diviner lays out the cards facedown in accordance with the chosen spread.
- Starting with Card 1, the diviner turns over each card from left to right to ensure the cards lie in the same direction they were dealt.
- The diviner interprets the spread.
