Diversity, inclusion and teamworking Flashcards
Tell me about an example of when you have worked well in a team?
One notable example of my teamwork skills is my involvement in project-based internal department instructions and TDD projects. These projects often require collaboration with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. For example when undertaking large retail projects, I make it a priority to ensure that any tasks assigned to me are completed to the best of my ability and delivered on time. This commitment not only helps me contribute effectively to the team’s goals but also ensures that the overall project is delivered on schedule.

What are CBRE stickerbooks?
CBRE Stickerbooks breakdown complex, DE&I and teamwork issues into mini bite-sized videos presented as stickers, where you can compete against other team in the company in a leader board system. This allows me to stay up to date on those various key issues, which I can apply this information to better serve my clients.
Can you give me an example of a recent stickerbook you have competed?
A recent sticker I completed was on the benefits of a inclusive environment. It discussed how once we start building accessibility, the rewards can effect everyone. One theory they discussed was the ‘curb cut effect’. Dropped ramps into pavements designed for wheel chairs actually turned very beneficial for a whole range of people, such as prams, people with low eyesight or carry heavy loads. A more recent example is on remote working, it’s initial purpose was to deterring the COVID-19 virus but this has gone on to benefit working parents and people with disabilities.
