What is Species?
An Organism of particular kind for interbreeding process.
What is Genus?
Organisms with same physical features but cannot interbreed.
What is family?
Group of Genus with one common characteristic.
What is an order?
Related families make an order.
What is a class?
Related orders make a class.
What is a Phylum?
It is the largest diversity of both plants and animals. Phylum is divided into 9 majour phylas.

Platyhelminthes
Nematoda
Annelida
Arthropoda
Mollusca
Echinodormata
Chordata
What is a kingdom?
Kingdom is the largest diversity of living beings.
It is divided into 5 kingdoms.
Monera
Protista
Fungi
Plantae
Animalia
State the drawbacks of the classification made by Linnaeus.
-Linnaeus divided the groups into 2 kingdoms_ Plantae and Animalia.
-Bacteria however couldn’t be called as a Plant or Animal because it was Prokaryotic also possessed Flagella.
-Single called Euglena couldn’t be called as an animal or plant as it had chlorophyll and a digestive system.
-Fungj could not be called as plants as it didn’t have chlorophyll, root system etc.
