Last 3 months of pregnancy (28 weeks and beyond)
- allowed to rest 20 minutes for every 4 hours
- limited 40 hour workweek over 7 days. Can ask to waive the time restriction.

Has not reached 28 weeks.

When is a pregnant service member eligible for CONUS Transfer?
- Without Restriction (no flight after 28th week)
- Operational commands should contact COMNAVPERSCOM for reassignment immediately upon receipt of pregnancy.
- Non operational shore commands that will be within 12 months of the members PRD should contact COMNAVPERSCOM to facilitate extension.
What happens to service members who get pregnant before enlistment and find out in BootCamp?
They are discharged without maternity benefits.

may continue to serve on a ship until the 20th week, while in port, or during short underway periods, provided evac exist and the time for MEDEVAC is less than 6 hours.

Cannot remain on ship after the 20th week. cannot be reassigned to the ship until 12 months postpartum.

- upon confirmation provide written notification to the CO.
