Q

What is displacement

A
  • Vector quantity
  • Measures the distance and direction in a straight line from an object’s starting point to its finishing point.

Example:If u walk 5m north then 5m south your displacement is 0m but distance is 10m

Q

Some formula about distance travelled

A

distance travelled = s peed × time
s = v t
distance, s, in metres, m
speed, v, in metres per second, m/s
time, t, in seconds, s
