What is the surgical dissection for the anterolateral approach to the distal femur?
A
1) Incision from lateral tibial tubercle, curvilinear over the lateral femoral condyle; can be extended proximally up femoral shaft
2) Incise the IT band in line with the incision (fibers should run parallel with incision)
