Measles
An acute, contagious viral disease, usually occurring in childhood and characterized by eruption of red spots on the skin, fever, and cold symptoms.

Mumps
An acute, inflammatory, contagious disease caused by a paramyxovirus and characterized by swelling of the salivary glands, especially the parotids, and sometimes of the pancreas, ovaries, or testes. This disease, mainly affecting children, can be prevented by vaccination.

Pertussis or also called Whooping Cough
An infectious disease of the respiratory mucous membrane caused by the bacterium Bordetella pertussis and characterized by a series of short, convulsive coughs followed by a whooping intake of breath.

Smallpox
Smallpox is an acute contagious disease caused by the variola virus, a member of the orthopoxvirus family. It was one of the world’s most devastating diseases known to humanity. It was declared eradicated in 1980 following a global immunization campaign led by the World Health Organization.
