Direct Transmission Methods (4)
Direct physical contact (wash hands, clean surfaces, sterilise instruments)
Faecal-oral transmission (wash all fresh food, thoroughly cook food, treatment of waste/drinking water)
Droplet Infection (Cover mouth, dispose of tissues correctly)
Spores - can be carried in air/soil or on surfaces (Use mask, wash skin after contact with soil)
Social factors affecting transmission
Poor diet, poor health, poor ventilation, overcrowding
