Discussion Guide 1 Flashcards
Describe an indica strain
More sedative, relaxing experience. Great for pain management, insomnia
EX: Triple OG, Willie’s Kush Cake
DON’T say “body” feeling, “sedative” instead
Describe a sativa strain
More cerebral, euphoric effect. Great for anti-depression, can help with focus and a more creative experience
EX: Lemon Haze, Strawberry Diesel
DON’T say “heady” feeling, “cerebral” instead
Describe a hybrid strain
Hybrids are an experience reflecting all properties, in various proportions depending on the strain (sativa dom vs indica dom)
EX: Wedding Cake, Gorilla Glue

When working CHECK-IN, what do you say when entering a new guest’s information to
obtain their phone number for our loyalty program?
“And what’s your phone number?” If they are hesitant, inform them it can be used not only for the rewards program (1 point for every dollar spent) but also can be used to reach in case of any issues with transaction or account.
Are sativa/indica/hybrid edibles made with different concentrates?
Negative, they are not - what distinguishes the “sativa” “indica” and “hybrid” effects are additions of terpenes to the edible’s recipe. If not specified-hybrid
List different consistencies of concentrate. Make sure to ask the preferred method of consumption.
Terp sugar, sauce, shatter, thca, live resin, rosin.
Characteristic differences:
THCA/”diamonds” are high in THC , low in terps
“sauce” will typically be highly concentrated with terpenes but not as potent in THC.
Something more crumbly will be better for a vape pen for example
What is the entourage effect?
Refers to the consumption of cannabinoids together as opposed to by themselves. Put simply, it’s the way THC and CBD work together. Separately they can work great, but together they work even better!
Explain the anchor position.

EDIBLES COUNT! The weight of the edible is taken into account. If they go over, try to sub for another with the same mg amount with less weight.
How do you assure someone who is concerned with privacy, that their information is secure and private with us? Are we able to do an anonymous transaction?
All info is protected through HIPAA, and no third parties have access to our information. Med cannot do anon transactions, rec only. Do not offer it, only accommodate if guest asks for an anon transaction. This does exclude them from first time discount.
