Prior to deposition, party must provide deposing party with the expert report, including all opinions, the method of investigation and findings, the data upon which the opinions are based, and the expert’s fee

Can only depose a consulting witness upon a showing of exceptional circumstances and that it is impractical to obtain the facts or opinions by other means
