Aeronautical – flight vehicles inside earths atmosphere
Astronautical – flight vehicles outside of earths atmosphere
what is communications engineering?
communications is to do with the way information is sent and received
what is chemical engineering?
the testing of chemical products and chemical manufacturing processes (E.G. food, drink, medicine)
what is civil engineering?
the construction of infrastructure such as roads, bridges, airports and service (E.G. gas, water, electric, waste/drainage)
what is automotive engineering?
the construction of land based vehicles and transport (E.G. bus, cars, train)
what is biomedical engineering?
the process of developing systems, devices and equipment to help with clinical problems
what is software engineering?
the construction of computer systems, programs and apps
