During the summer holidays
Pendant les grandes vacances
I went to a music concert in Carhaix - ‘Les Vielles Charrues’ for three days
Je suis allé à un concert de musique à Carhaix - ‘Les Vielles Chaurres’ pour trois jours
I went there with my dad and my brother
J’y suis allé avec mon père et mon frère
We travelled by boat and by car
Nous avons voyage en bateau et voiture.
The journey was very long and tiring.
Le voyage etait trop long et fatigant.
We stayed in the campsite, which was very dirty and uncomfortable.
On a logé dans un camping, qui était très sale et inconfortable.
On the day of the concert, we listened to music and met new people
Le jour du concert, nous avons ecoute a la musique et recontre de nouveaux gens.
On the days we were not at the festival…
Les jours où nous n’étions pas au festival…
we travelled into Carhaix and went to tourist attractions
nous avons voyagé dans Carhaix et est allé aux attractions touristiques
and also tried food such as snails in a french restaurant.
et aussi on a essaye de la nourriture comme escargots dans un restaurant francais.
Carhaix is quite small but is very nice
Carhaix est assez petit mais est très agréable
Everyone was very welcoming
Tout le monde était très accueillant.
The festival was amazing and the music was great
Le festival était incroyable et la musique était super!
