What is direct democracy?
Any occasion where citizens are directly involved in the decision making process.
How are decisions made in a direct democracy?
Made through a majority vote, usually on a for or against basis.
What does it require from the people?
a high level of political education and engagement, due to the amount of power that can come with each vote.
Why is the classical idea near impossible to instil?
Due to the vast geographical and population size of modern day countries. (however elements are still present in many countries).
What is the most common form of direct democracy?
Referendums.

What do CJ’s and PP’s allow for?
The public to express their opinions on a certain area or policy of government however they are still tempered by representatives.
