A scientist is like a detective because both have the attitudes of and use the scientific method. Honesty is important to be true to the data and published date/results. Curiosity - leads to new questions and hypotheses. Skepticism - allows one to question results and re-think the hypothesis. Open mindless allows them to think outside of the box and search for other answers. Creativity allows them to think of new ways to develop equipment and to see possibilities do new discoveries, ect.
