RSTP:
- Live broadcasts
- Downloads, then throws away data as soon as it’s viewed
- Does not cache data
- Downloads packets while its being watched
HTTP:
- Not for live broadcast
- Not in realtime
- Good for replaying
- Cache’s data
- Downloads sections of file to computer before playing
