A

They come along with innumerable features such cameras, digital watches, media players and hand-held game consoles, due to these reasons they have an advanced operating system. They come along with a virtual keyboard for users to enter/input data. Smartphones use touchscreens to enter data. They use more power than any other type of devices and thus they have a shorter battery life.

A

The lens: good lens allow the right light to travel through it without introducing any defects, the lens can also be controlled in order to decrease or increase the amount of light travelling through it.

The image processor: a good image processor compensates for poor lighting conditions.

The resolution: the resolution refers to the number of pixels used to display an image on the screen, the higher the numbers of pixels, the better the resolution and the better the quality of the image.

A

TVs: Televisions display both moving and still images on a screen, the quality of the image depends on the resolution(number of pixels used). HD televisions display a large number of pixels, often manufacturers only refer to the vertical pixels for example, 1920p x 1080p is widely known as 1080p. UHD(Ultra High Definition) TVs usually display upto 4000 or 8000 pixels commonly known as 4k or 8k televisions.

Sound Systems: sound systems can produce loud, rich sounds using high-quality speakers and amplifiers. Some speakers contain built-in amplifiers. They can be connected to a local network to play music from connected devices, they can also be connected to online storage to play music that is stored online. Sound systems can usually be connected to personal devices such as smartphones, media players and tablet devices using wired connections like USB or wireless connections like Bluetooth.

What are games consoles?

A

Game consoles are devices designed to enable users to play online games with other users online, the games are provided as disks or as downloads from the internet. Game consoles come along with game controllers to enable users to control the objects/characters in order words, the ‘sprites’ in the games. Some game consoles use motion sensors to allow the player to control the game using gestures other consoles use virtual reality to immerse the player in a realistic gaming experience where their movements in the real world are replicated by avatars in the virtual world.

A

They are smaller versions of consoles which are used to provide mobile gaming, they have a built-in screen and less storage than most game consoles. The games played on these consoles will often have lower sound and image quality in order to reduce the amount of data that needs to be stored.

A

They provide video and audio content to a television, this content can be streamed directly from the internet or accessed from network or local storage. They are controlled using a remote control and media players can be connected to a TV directly or by using a wired or wireless connection. Personal media players are compact, portable devices with local storage to hold media files for playback. They are useful when travelling or exercising due to their small size and long battery life. They use Solid State Flash Memory.
